TO BECOME A HERO AT THE BMW SÜDTIROL DOLOMITES
FROM SATURDAY, 27 JUNE, RUN, WALK, AND CYCLE FOR SPORTHILFE HEROES RUN 2020: ‘BURSTING WITH ENERGY – LET’S RESTART TOGETHER!’
Not long to go now until the start of the charitable initiative that is the SPORTHILFE HEROES RUN!
The goal is to reach 100,000 km and upload your individual courses and trails to the free SPORTHILFE HEROES RUN iOS and Android app between 27 June and 5 July 2020: everyone can take part by running, walking, and hopping on their bike or mountain bike.
Sporthilfe Alto Adige, a non-profit association whose aim is to support young, talented South Tyrolean athletes, is behind the idea. SPORTHILFE HEROES RUN 2020 was created as an homage to all the heroes who have been working on the front line during the COVID-19 emergency.
Even our HEROes can contribute to this ambitious goal by signing up with the ‘HERO’ team profile: together we will be unstoppable!
Take part in SPORTHILFE HEROES RUN by running, walking, or cycling on your own or with your family. You can also sign up as part of your sports club or company while still exercising on your own to comply with the social distancing and safety measures in the Province of Bolzano. Go at your own pace and explore the paths and roads you love the most in the province to reach one common goal.
And there is more – whoever uploads the most kilometres can win some of the following prizes:
‘Most km – individual’: the first places in the running and biking category will receive a weekend for two in a Belvita Hotel in South Tyrol; people between the 2nd and 15th place will receive a crate of Marlene apples
‘Most km – team’: the first place receives 3 packs of Forst 1857, the second 2 packs of Forst 0.0%, and the third place 1 keg (5 L) of beer
‘Most km – family’: the first place gets a pair of Rudy Project glasses
SPORTHILFE HEROES RUN also aims to raise funds to support young, talented South Tyrolean athletes. The initiative can count on the support of some of the most important South Tyrolean athletes: Manfred Mölgg, Christoph Innerhofer, Dorothea Wierer, Laura Letrari, Elena Pirrone and many more.
Sign up and save the date: an inaugural event for this special initiative will be live streamed on Saturday, 27 June 2020 at 10 a.m. on www.sporthilfe.it and will feature athletes, institutional representatives and many other guests.
